Godfather Don Giovanni clings to the traditions of a bygone era while his
family has other ideas. The tired crime lord must battle a daughter
who wants to be a rock star and a son who writes bad poetry. Even his
wife is tired of black dresses, no vacations and blood splattered laundry.
When the don is murdered during his daughter's wedding, everyone is under
suspicion. Add a reluctant groom, an angry mistress, a missing will
and a secret passageway and you have a shotgun wedding, Italian style!

In this drama of great tenderness, charm and beauty, Amanda Wingfield is a
faded, tragic remnant of Southern gentility who lives in poverty in a dingy
St. Louis apartment with her son, Tom, and her daughter, Laura. When
Tom invites a young man of his acquaintance to take dinner with the family,
Amanda sees the "gentleman caller" as a possible husband for Laura, and a
way out of poverty for them all. Will this visitor transform their
lives? Experience one of the most famous plays of the modern era.
